Variegated, cream-white and blue-green leaves, striking ornamental, typically without spines. Rare in trade, valued 2–5× more than typical agaves. Good carbon capture, animal forage, fiber, and spirits potential. Niche crop with landscaping and industrial value.

- Climate Observations
- Established plants tolerate 20–23F; young plants hardy to ~30F. Max 120F for established, 110F for young; under 1-year should be protected under 90–100F. Bulbils cannot take direct sun >75F until rooted. Tolerant of high winds if watered; otherwise use windbreak when dryfarmed. Tolerant of clay, sand, or rocky soils. In CA, best planted fall–winter for establishment. Needs frost and heat protection in years 1–2.
